The Rocketz: that’s who they are, and that’s what they do. Dirty, rocking, and completely entertaining without any excuses for their sound. Pulling influences from Rockabilly, Punk Rock, Power Pop, and Hard Rock, they’ve captured the hearts and loyalty of thousands of fans across the U.S. Now they are back on the road in support of their third album, CALIFORNIA HELL, on Splatterhouse Wrekords out of Seattle WA. Once again, they will continue to explore their sound without turning their backs on their fans. 2015 was a busy year, headlining shows across the US and sharing the stage with some of their favorites bands including: The Reverend Horton Heat, Rancid, The Offspring, Bad Religion, Dropkick Murphy’s, and Marilyn Manson…just to name a few. There is no compromise or gimmicks, just hard-hitting, loud guitar and catchy hooks. Catch them in 2016 in your town!
Front man and guitarist, Tony Slash, a Native American (Cherokee) from Los Angeles, is sponsored by Gretsch guitars and was Gretsch Featured Artist for March and April 2015! Tony will guide you through the set with emotions on his sleeve and an intimacy that makes you feel like you are alone in the room with him. Nick “Chango” Anchondo slaps his bass and provides a wonderful lightness to Tony’s punk rock angst. Atom Reno keeps the unit together providing backing vocals and the most musical, solid drumming you will have the pleasure to watch as this power-trio will take you on a journey from punk rock to anthems, to mid-tempo sing-alongs, and toe-tapping rockabilly.
